Ich Liebe Dich
Ich Liebe Dich. German for "I love you."
This sweet but not saccharine pendant was hand-carved from wax and cast using the Lost-Wax Method in bronze. The diminutive banner (less than 1.5" across) reads "Ich Liebe Dich" and sits beautifully at or just below the collarbone, flattering to all necks and complimenting most top's and dresses' necklines.
Pendant hangs on 16" of copper-rich brass chain and closes with a toggle clasp. If you would prefer a different length or a different kind of closure, simply write your preference in your notes at checkout and I will make the substitution at no extra charge.
Bronze develops a beautiful patina over time, through normal wear and exposure to air and the elements. The pendant pictured here is my own necklace, shown after two weeks of wear and some heavy summer rain. The patina on your necklace will show individual variation and will change over time. If you ever want to remove the patina to restore the bright, dark color of bronze, you can clean your necklace with a commercial polish or simply brush the surface lightly with a steel wool or Scotch-Brite pad.
