Hello!  I’m Joanna.  I’m a metalsmith, jewelry-designer and indiepreneur.  I’m the hands, heart and head of jewelry design and production studio Ach Ach Liebling.   I love what I do: working with my hands, making beautiful things of lasting value, resuscitating old or overlooked objects, interacting with people, contributing positively to a humane and sustainable economy through my business practices and actions.

And when I’m not working on my business or honing my metalwork techniques, I love seeing what other artists and designers are making, I love strolling through my neighborhood, I love cooking and eating local food, I love writing and thinking, I love reading and learning new things.  This blog is where I share the things that I love with you.
